Ingredients3 pounds apples, peeled, cored and quartered
1/2 cup water
3/4 sugar
Juice of half a lemon
InstructionsIn a large saucepan combine the apples, 1/2 cup water and sugar, bring the liquid to a boil, and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 25 minutes. Use a whisk to break the apples into chunky applesauce. Serve.
