Indian Curried Chicken and Onions

Ingredients1# chicken cut in pieces
2 T Yellow Curry Powder
1 t salt
4 T butter
2 large onions chopped in large pieces
1 1/2 cup water
chopped cilantro
chutney (optional)
InstructionsCombine curry and salt and sprinkle over chicken and set aside while chopping onions. Melt butter in and sautee onions until softened. Add curried chicken and water and simmer 15-20 minutes until chicken is cooked and sauce reduces. Serve over rice with chopped cilantro and chutney.
